Has anyone (TAU included) tested Barcode & NFC successfully in any non-Zebra Android rugged and/or industrial device?
If yes, kindly provide device name, model & manufacturer.

We support thirdparty vendors hardware for our enterprise customers, but this kind of support is not open source. Some of vendors we did support for are Honeywell, Chainway, DataLogic.

OK. I was wondering whether it would be a risky thing to recommend to users to buy rugged devices like those of Janam, Ulefone, Doogee, Blackview, Vernee and the like for barcode and NFC with Rhodes. Sounds like it is

Not sure what you mean by risky. There is no problem for Tau to support any enterprise vendor and we did it already. We can do it on paid basis of course and we are open for commercial proposals.

Risky for me, without the paid support, of course. Zebra devices are too expensive for many enterprises and government agencies
