Hi,
I'm having problems with producing Android .apk files from my projects after upgrading from RhoStudio 5.x to the latest 7.1.
I believe I have the latest Java version (C:/Program Files/Java/jdk1.8.0_144/bin). I've also got the latest Android NDK (r20) which I downloaded separately, and I'm using the Android SDK which is shipped with Android Studio (C:/Users/danie/AppData/Local/Android/Sdk), I'm currently using the API Level 20 version of the SDK.
When I try to create a production build for a project I have, I get the following build errors:
[31mC:\Android\android-ndk-r20\toolchains\llvm\prebuilt\windows-x86_64\bin/../lib/gcc/arm-linux-androideabi/4.9.x/../../../../arm-linux-androideabi/bin\ld.gold: error: C:/Code/rhomobile/edicohandheld-nav/edicohandheldnav/bin/target/android/debug/curl/armeabi/libcurl.a(vtls.c.o): multiple definition of 'Curl_ssl_addsessionid'
[0mC:\Android\android-ndk-r20\toolchains\llvm\prebuilt\windows-x86_64\bin/../lib/gcc/arm-linux-androideabi/4.9.x/../../../../arm-linux-androideabi/bin\ld.gold: C:/Code/rhomobile/edicohandheld-nav/edicohandheldnav/bin/target/android/debug/curl/armeabi/libcurl.a(sslgen.c.o): previous definition here
I.e. this is the first build error, I get a number of other errors following this one.
Any idea what could be the issue?
Regards, DanĂel

Update: I had forgotten to clean the project, that was the cause for this error. Ran into another error, decided to go back to v6.1, but will try again soon.

Try 7.1.2, it has couple of fixes related to newer NDKs.

I tried that on a separate machine (since I need my main machine to have a working installation!). First I got a warning saying Java is needed to run the program, so I downloaded the latest version of Java, but then I got this error: ibb.co/1TXvk73I tried again after restarting the machine, but got the same error. Any idea what could be the problem?
