Hi,
I am trying to deploy my rhoconnect application server on AWS Elastic Beanstalk. The AWS Elastic Beanstalk configuration I used is as follow: 1) Ruby 1.9.3 2) Redis 3.2.8 3) Nginx 1.10.1
My Rhoconnect production settings are: :production:
:redis: localhost:6379
:syncserver: http://localhost:9292
:push_server: http://someappname@localhost:8675/
The deploy does succeed. However, when I launch the application using the URL generated by AWS, I am getting the following error:
502 Bad Gateway nginx/1.8.1
Could you please advise how I can resolve this issue?
Kind Regards, Rachidi

Hi,
Ok. Does that mean the document section "Deploying RhoConnect with High Availability on Amazon Web Services" on "http://docs.tau-technologies.com/en/5.5/rhoconnect/rhoconnect-redis-stack" is no longer relevant?
Kind Regards, Rachidi

Hi,
No it doesn't. Possibly you do something wrong.

Hi,
The only thing I did differently was to create my own AMI because the following AMI's do not exist: ami-cbc59e8e and ami-0dfca748 on "Us West N. California". Have the AMI's names been changed?
Kind Regards, Rachidi

Hi,
I believe that is the reason. Those AMIs contained preinstalled RhoConnect environment. Possibly ami-cbc59e8e and ami-0dfca748 were removed by Zebra or Amazon. I also would like to point that in those AMIs used very old RhoConnect version. So I see 2 options:
1. You should create your own AMI with the latest RhoConnect server. But you should understand how to set up RhoConnect properly in that AMI. 2. Tau team can create most up to date AMI and publish it to Amazon.
